Media Accreditation Form
All accredited media at the LI-NING Hong Kong Open 2026 part of the HSBC BWF World Tour Super 500 are required to read and adhere to following guidelines:
1. Rights Holders (RHB)
- Requests for international RHBs to be submitted to and approved by Infront Broadcast Services Manager (BSM).
- Rights Holding Broadcaster (RHB) access is strictly for crew members of approved BWF-Infront Rights Holders.
- RHB Camera Operators require bibs for FOP access.
- Approved individuals will be briefed on FOP Rules and Regulations by BWF/Host.
- Mixed Zone access is granted to a maximum of 3 personnel:
- Producer/Reporter
- Camera Operator
- Sound Engineer
- RHB positions will be clearly marked in the Mixed Zone.
- All other RHB personnel are to wait at designated Media Centre or Workspace.
- Access to training hall permitted under supervision of the BWF.
2. Non-Rights Holding Broadcasters (NRH)
- Should permission be granted, NRHs must follow below regulations:
- Filming limited to 5 minutes per match (at designated NRH position). Final edited and used footage must not be more than 3 minutes per day.
- All footage (filmed, edited, used) must only be used for news purposes.
- All footage must be used within 24 hours. No live streaming of interviews and no live stand-up is permitted.
- No Live Streaming of Mixed Zone or Press Conference interviews is allowed.
- Non-Rights Holders are not allowed to film, or voice record any RHB Mixed Zone interviews.
- Non-Rights Holder positions will be clearly marked in the Mixed Zone.
- Anyone caught disobeying the rules will have their accreditation revoked.
3. Photographers/Media
- No laptops or bags allowed on the FOP.
- All image and video files must be uploaded from the Media Centre, not the FOP.
- Accredited photographers and videographers must wear their bib at all times when on the FOP.
- No video filming of any kind is permitted on the FOP.
- If discovered, you will receive one warning. Thereafter, your pass will be withdrawn.
- No Live Streaming of Mixed Zone or Press Conference interviews is allowed.
- If discovered, you will receive one warning. Thereafter, your pass will be withdrawn.
- Media cannot record or listen to any exclusive RHB interviews.
- Separate Media positions will be clearly marked in the Mixed Zone.
- Media tribune is for accredited Media only.
- There is to be no Live Streaming from the Media Tribune. The above rules apply.
4. General Behaviour
- Selfies with players/t-shirt signings are strictly prohibited. If caught by BWF, you will be given one warning.
- Access to players’ lounge, doping control, training hall, warm-up/warm-down area is not permitted.
- Anyone caught disobeying the rules will have their accreditation revoked.
